Kathryn Maroney

Speech Pathologist and Founder /Director of Speech Science Pty Ltd

Based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Kathryn has worked in private practice since 2014. A passionate Speechie, she delivers clinical speech pathology services across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Beaudesert, Flagstone and Jimboomba, and online to clients across Australia and internationally.

Kathryn graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2009 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She has since worked in several private practices: one focused on auditory processing and auditory memory, another on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Her experience also spans community health with children under six, and a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Alongside her clinical work, Kathryn has volunteered with Moira Kelly’s Children First Foundation, delivering speech pathology services to children with severe cleft lip and palate and other communication difficulties. She also volunteers with the Queensland branch of Speech Pathology Australia.

Above all, she is passionate about everything Speech Science, and loves developing meaningful speech pathology tools that support any intervention.
